El Super is hiring for Store #48 in Wilmington, CA as a Utilities Clerk to support store maintenance and assist customers on the floor. The role emphasizes bagging groceries, cart retrieval, price checks, and keeping aisles clean to ensure a safe shopping environment.

Starting at $18.47 per hour, the Utilities Clerk will help maintain the Produce area, assist customers, and perform duties such as cart retrieval and checkout area upkeep.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers and coworkers in one-on-one or small group settings.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently 45 pounds, and occasionally 60 pounds.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate (nice to have).

Responsabilités

• Assist in proper store maintenance, especially Produce, and help customers on the floor.
• Properly bag groceries and, when needed, carry out groceries for customers.
• Maintain carts, run price checks, assist with go-backs and checkout area upkeep, and remove waste from parking area.
