Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with customers and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, tags and memos.

• Apply common sense to follow detailed but simple instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in proper store maintenance, especially Produce, and assist customers on the floor.
• Properly bag groceries for customers and carry out groceries when requested.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety, manage carts, and assist with price checks.
• Support with go-backs, check stand upkeep, and waste removal from parking areas.
• Work in a fast-paced grocery environment with physical demands noted.

Responsibilities

To assist in the proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department and assist customers on the store floor as needed. The Utilities Clerk will properly bag groceries for customers when needed. If requested, they will carry out groceries for customers. The Utilities Clerk is responsible for the store maintenance to ensure the store is clean and safe at all times. They will maintain and retrieve store carts, run price checks, assist with go‑backs, assist with check stand upkeep, and remove waste from the parking area.

The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
