Job summary

Fiesta Mart, part of the Chedraui USA group, is seeking an Utilities Clerk for Store 059 Plano. The role involves supporting store maintenance, assisting customers on the floor, and properly bagging groceries as needed.

The position requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, basic PC/Outlook skills, and the physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds in a fast-paced grocery environment. Plano, TX location, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English communication with customers and coworkers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings to customers and employees.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed but uninvolved instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently 45 pounds, and occasionally 60 pounds.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in proper store maintenance, especially in Produce, and help customers on the floor as needed.
• Bag groceries for customers when needed and may carry out groceries upon request.
• Keep the store clean and safe; maintain and retrieve carts; run price checks; assist with go-backs; check stand upkeep; remove waste from parking area.

The Opportunity

Assist in the proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department, and help customers on the store floor as needed. The Utilities Clerk will properly bag groceries for customers when needed and may carry out groceries upon request.
