Job summary

Tradesmen International is seeking experienced Utah Licensed Journeyman Electricians for projects around Eagle Mountain, UT. This night shift role offers a pay rate up to $55/hour, plus $190 per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the jobsite.

Responsibilities include conduit work, PLC terminations, switchgear installation, and diagnosing industrial electrical systems, with strong emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Utah Journeyman Electrician license required.
• Heavy industrial electrical experience required.
• Experience terminating PLCs and control systems; switchgear installation.

Responsibilities

• Install and install galvanized rigid conduit, cut and thread as needed.
• Terminate wiring to PLCs and industrial control systems.
• Install switchgear and related electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and project specs.
• Maintain quality workmanship while following safety standards.

Job Scope:

• Install, cut, thread, bend, and install galvanized rigid conduit
• Terminate wiring to PLCs and industrial control systems
• Install switchgear and associated electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot industrial electrical systems and equipment
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and project specifications
• Perform industrial electrical installations according to project requirements
• Maintain quality workmanship while adhering to all safety standards

Requirements:

• Current Utah Journeyman Electrician License
• Heavy industrial electrical experience
• Proficiency with galvanized rigid conduit installation, threading, cutting, and bending
• Experience terminating PLCs and control systems
• Experience installing switchgear and industrial electrical equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment 10-panel drug screen
• Must be willing to submit to random drug testing on site
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
