Job summary

AEXP Express Corporation in Lake Arthur, LA is seeking a mail delivery driver for a USPS mail route starting 11/01/2026. This route requires you to provide your own vehicle and work 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, six days a week.

The position pays $360 per day as a 1099 contractor, with monthly payments, and requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift 70 pounds, and residence in the Lake Arthur area.

Qualifications

• Must have a qualifying vehicle (Minivan/Cargo Van with at least 120 cubic feet of cargo capacity & less than 5 years old) and minimum liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Sorting mail and packages in delivery sequence for active mailboxes.
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle.
• Delivering mail and packages to customer boxes along an assigned line-of-travel.
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.
• Other administrative duties are required.

AEXP Express Corporation, one of the nation’s leaders in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, with locations nationwide, is currently seeking applicants for mail delivery driver/mail carrier on a United States Postal Service mail route in Lake Arthur, LA.This route starts on 11/01/2026.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have legal documentation to work in the United States
• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must be able to lift 70 pounds

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sorting mail and packages in delivery sequence foractive mailboxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle.
• Delivering mail and packages to customer boxes along an assignedline-of-travel.
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.
• Other administrative duties are required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Former USPS employees/contractors (Highly Recommended)
• Candidates with Minivans and Cargo Vans with 120 cubic feet of cargo space without a center console for passenger side mailbox delivery (It will be hard to do the route if you do not meet this recommendation but still possible)

Must be available to start immediately

• Work Schedule: Full-Time: 6 Days per Week -Monday to Saturdays except federal holidays.
• Time: 7:00am - 7:00pm (estimated 12 hours a day)
• You will provide your own vehicle.
• 140 miles a day. (70 mile delivery route)
• $360/Day as a 1099 contractor (PAID MONTHLY)
