Job summary

Area Storage & Transfer is hiring full-time Class A tractor trailer drivers to haul mail at our Bethpage, NY location. You will run overnight trips and work one weekend day, delivering mail for the USPS with no heavy lifting required.

Requirements include 2 years of verifiable tractor trailer experience (bus/transit does not apply), clean driving record, age 23+, ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and USPS screening/badging. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 2 years verifiable tractor trailer experience (bus/transit experience does not apply).
• No more than three moving violations; OR two preventable accidents; OR a combined total of three within the last three years.
• No major speeding tickets (15+ mph over limit), texting while driving, reckless driving.
• Minimum 23 years of age.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Be able to complete and pass USPS Postal Driver screening/badging.

Responsibilities

• Haul mail at Bethpage, NY location.
• Overnights trips and must work one weekend day.
• Deliver mail for the USPS; no heavy lifting.
• Dry Van hauling mail.
