Job summary

Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage is seeking an On Call Guest Services Attendant to assist with ticketing and seating at concerts and events.

You will welcome guests, scan tickets, transfer drinks, and guide patrons to their seats while ensuring safety and a positive experience. Strong English communication, basic computer skills, and a willingness to work varied shifts are required. Experience in customer service and a polite, proactive approach are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some demonstrated customer service experience or training.
• Good oral and written English communication skills.
• Multilingual desirable with good phone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests in a polite and friendly manner.
• Directs and seats guests for concerts and events.
• Ticket taking duties including ticket scanning and drink transfer.
• Informing guests about the location of the restrooms, refreshments, and exits.
• Tending to guests' comfort and assisting them with any questions or problems.
• Assisting patrons with disabilities or other impairments, as needed.
• Monitoring the guests' activity to ensure the safety of the event.
• Enforcing event rules and relevant health and safety regulations.
• Ensuring that the lobby and facilities are neat and organized.
• Following all emergency protocols and guiding audience members to the exits in an orderly manner.
• Must possess and maintain a thorough knowledge of the Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa special events, promotions, and advertising campaigns.
• Provide excellent guest service.
• Must comply with all applicable ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls Standard Operating Procedures and all Tribal Regulations.

• Some demonstrated customer service experience and/or training or combination of education and experience.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting OR standing at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift. Also may be subjected to a smoke filled environment. Ability to work well in a group and be proactive about the needs of guests. Able to work various shifts, weekends, possibly holidays and late nights. Reliability and promptness in arriving for scheduled shifts.

Typically the individual will be housed in an live concert venue environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalat inside the concert venue. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
