Job summary

Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (MSG Entertainment) is hiring an Usher for the Chicago Theatre to greet guests, guide them to seats, monitor safety, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere throughout events.

You will help with ingress, egress, and answering questions while upholding appearance and presentation guidelines on-site. Requirements include strong communication and customer service skills, the ability to work with large crowds, and willingness to rotate to different posts within

Qualifications

• Previous Usher, Ticket Taker, or Guest Relations experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work with large crowds.
• Must be able to tolerate and work in a loud, fast paced environment.
• General computer proficiency and email communications are required.
• Maintain a professional manner, presence, and appearance always while on premises/duty.
• All candidates must be available to work 75% of the monthly show schedule (No guarantee of minimum hours).
• Must be comfortable with heights (working on high floor) and navigating steep steps and inclines.
• Must be willing to rotate to various positions within a shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide wayfinding and assistance.
• Scan tickets and report invalid tickets.
• Ensure aisles and exits are clear before show.
• Support lobby activities and VIP packages.
• Assist third party vendors with setup prior to ingress.
• Turn in Lost and Found items to the Supervisor immediately.
• Communicate safety issues to Supervisor.
