Job summary

Hooky Entertainment in Homestead is looking for an Usher to provide an excellent experience to guests by assisting with movie-going and maintaining theater cleanliness. The Usher will welcome guests, ensure they have valid tickets, and respond to inquiries, all while maintaining a friendly atmosphere.

Candidates must be at least 16 years of age and be available to work during holidays, nights, and weekends. Physical demands include prolonged standing and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Team member benefits include competitive pay and discounts on movies and attractions.

Job description

Overview

As the Usher you will be responsible to provide an excellent experience to our guests by assisting with the movie going experience and providing direction to theaters. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the theaters after each movie and ensuring the theater is ready for guests to arrive for the next showing. The Usher is also responsible for assisting guests to their seats if requested.

Job Responsibilities

• Welcome guests as they arrive and provide a warm, friendly atmosphere.
• Ensure that each guest has a valid ticket and direct them to their designated seating area.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Follow and enforce all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Ensure that theater and restrooms are clean and tidy before, during, and after showings.
• Assist guests with lost and found items.
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Education & Experience

• Must be at least 16 years of age
