Job summary

Kayser Chrysler Center of Watertown is seeking an experienced Used Vehicle Mechanic to inspect and repair used vehicles for retail sale. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform comprehensive maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.

The role emphasizes efficient problem-solving, attention to detail, and pride in delivering quality vehicles from a modern dealership facility with supportive teams and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive repair; able to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• ASE certifications are a plus, but not required.
• Dealership experience preferred, but experienced independent technicians will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Inspect newly acquired used vehicles and identify needed repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns.
• Perform general mechanical repairs and maintenance.
• Complete brake, suspension, steering, cooling, and other repairs.
• Perform oil changes and routine maintenance.
• Help determine whether repairs are necessary to make a vehicle safe and retail ready.
• Work with the Used Vehicle and Service teams to keep vehicles moving through the process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Kayser Chrysler Center of Watertown is looking for an experienced Used Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. This position is focused on inspecting and repairing used vehicles as they come into inventory and getting them ready for retail sale. The right person is someone who can diagnose problems, work efficiently, and take pride in putting out a quality vehicle.
