Job summary

Purdy Mazda Volkswagen is seeking a skilled Used Car Automotive Technician to join our service team. If you take pride in your work, enjoy diagnosing a variety of vehicles, and want to be part of a supportive dealership environment, we’d like to meet you.

As a member of our team, you will inspect used vehicles for safety and quality, diagnose and repair various makes, and complete reconditioning efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience as an automotive technician.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work on multiple vehicle brands.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Own professional tools.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect used vehicles for safety, quality, and mechanical condition.
• Diagnose and repair multiple makes and models.
• Complete reconditioning work efficiently and accurately.
• Perform maintenance, brake, suspension, electrical, and drivability repairs.
• Clearly document recommended repairs.
• Work closely with the used-car and service departments.
• Help ensure every vehicle is ready for our customers.
