Job summary

Sands Chevrolet in Surprise, Arizona is seeking an experienced Used Car Technician to join our busy reconditioning team. You will perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on used vehicles.

In a high-volume shop, you can expect consistent workflow, strong flat-rate earning potential, and the opportunity to flag up to 150 hours per pay period. We offer health insurance, vision insurance, a 401(k), and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Used car, recon, or dealership experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a flat-rate environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to manage multiple repair orders and priorities.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Own tools required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on used vehicles
• Complete used vehicle reconditioning efficiently and accurately
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and safety-related concerns
• Perform brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, and general mechanical repairs
• Complete work according to dealership quality and safety standards
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs performed
• Work closely with service advisors, used car management, and other technicians
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
