The role involves using diagnostic equipment, performing routine service, and collaborating with advisors to prioritize repairs. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of mechanic experience, ASE/MDT certifications, and own tools. Valid license and ability to pass pre-employment checks are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of mechanic or Automotive Service Technician experience.
• ASE and MDT certifications preferred.
• Must have own set of tools.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Drug test, background checks, MVR required.

Responsibilities

• Identify issues using diagnostic equipment and perform repairs.
• Maintain engines, transmissions, brakes, and related systems.
• Work with service advisors to prioritize repairs.
• Complete repair orders and document activities.
• Attend factory-sponsored training to stay updated on latest automotive technologies.
• Ensure work meets safety and quality standards.

Compensation

• $25.00 to $35.00 per hour flat rate depending on experience

The Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $25 and $35.

Schedule:

• FULL TIME
• 5 days a week / 2 days off
• Monday thru Saturday availability

The Service Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and other vehicle issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other automotive systems as outlined on repair orders.
• Work efficiently to diagnose malfunctions and complete repairs within established timeframes.
• Collaborate with service advisors, technicians, lead technician, foreman,and parts department to prioritize and schedule repairs.
• Conduct thorough quality inspections to ensure all repairs meet or exceed industry standards or verify if additional safety of service work is required.
• Address any issues or discrepancies promptly with Service Advisor, team lead, or foreman(parts, time promised, etc).
• Document all diagnostic and repair activities accurately.
• Complete repair orders and maintain detailed records of services performed.
• Attend factory-sponsored training classes to stay informed about the latest automotive technologies and industry trends.
• Attend training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Preferred:

• MDT Certified
• ASE Certifications
• 4+ years of mechanic or Automotive Service Technicianexperience (flat rate/diagnostics)
• Must have own set of tools
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools
• Knowledge of automotive systems, components, and repair procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Required:

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license
