Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of automotive repair experience preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to operate diagnostic scan tools and repair equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on domestic and foreign vehicles.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, brake, suspension, steering, engine, and transmission issues.
  • Conduct routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and fluid checks.
  • Use diagnostic tools and computerized equipment to identify vehicle problems.
  • Complete repairs efficiently and according to manufacturer and safety standards.
  • Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper operation.
  • Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation.
  • Communicate repair recommendations and vehicle status with service advisors and customers.
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Stay current with automotive technology and repair procedures.
