Job summary

Beyer Volvo Cars of Dulles in Sterling, VA is seeking a qualified used car technician to evaluate pre-owned vehicles and perform repairs and maintenance on a broad range of vehicles, including high-line imports. You will work with service staff to service pre-owned inventory and ensure quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• At least 2 years of service technician or training.
• Ability to operate all automotive tools and equipment.
• Pass pre-employment background screening.
• State inspector & emissions inspector a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team alongside our Service Consultants and Pre-Owned Manager to service and repair pre-owned inventory.
• Perform routine inspections, repairs, maintenance, system diagnostics, and full automotive troubleshooting and testing.
• Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair.
• Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for internal and manufacturer records.
