Job summary

Nissan of Orem, a Ken Garff Automotive Dealership, is seeking an Automotive Service Technician (Mechanic). You will perform efficient repairs, diagnose vehicle concerns, and execute multi-point inspections to ensure high quality service for our customers.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid in-state driver license and good driving record
• High School Diploma or Equivalent; ASE or dealership certifications preferred
• Prior automotive technician experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient and expert work on repair orders in accordance with dealership, state and factory standards
• Address customers’ primary concerns with diagnosis, repair and quality control to attain Fixed First Visit expectations
• Perform Ken Garff Electronic Multi Point Inspection with video on every vehicle and notify if more time is needed
• Master the Dealer Management System (DMS) for work distribution, inspections, quotes, communication and timekeeping
• Complete required training as assigned
• Maintain cleanliness throughout workspace and customer vehicles

Looking for:

What you’ll do as an Automotive Service Technician (Mechanic):

• Perform efficient and expert work on repair orders, in accordance with dealership, state and factory standards
• Address customers’ primary concerns with diagnosis, repair and quality control to attain ‘Fixed First Visit’ expectations
• Perform the Ken Garff Electronic Multi Point Inspection along with video on every vehicle; immediately notify Service Advisor if the car has additional recommendations or if more time is needed to complete the repair
• Master our Dealer Management System (DMS) for work distribution, electronic inspections, repair quotes, communication and time keeping
• Complete required training as assigned
• Maintain cleanliness throughout workspace and in all customer vehicles
