Job summary

Charlie Clark Auto Group is seeking a Used Car Service Technician to join our honest shop where skilled techs are valued. You will diagnose and repair vehicles, work with a team, and help customers by providing quality service.

The job requires 2+ years of service technician experience preferred, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ASE certification preferred; A,B,C level qualifications including diagnostic, electrical and engine repair.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of service technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification preferred.
• A,B,C level qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical and engine repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair light duty diesel vehicles
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Assist in mentoring technician trainees
• Attend company and factory training
• Keep current with factory technical bulletins
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)
• Monday-Saturday 7-30am-6pm

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

ASE Certification preferred

A,B,C level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
