Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced USD Interest Rate Swaps Trader to lead client execution, market making, and risk management across USD Interest Rate Swaps instruments.

The role focuses on monetizing client flows, building pricing analytics, and maintaining a scalable trading platform with strong controls. Qualified applicants will have 5+ years in USD Interest Rate Swaps or related derivatives, a finance/economics/quant field background, and FINRA/NFA designations.

Qualifications

• FINRA Series 7 and 63; NFA Associated Persons designation required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related quantitative field.
• Extensive experience (5+ years) trading USD Interest Rate Swaps or related derivatives.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monetize client transactions in line with market structure and macro outlook.
• Implement pricing tools, analytics, and automation to increase pricing efficiency.
• Partner with Sales to deepen client engagement and showcase trading capabilities.
• Ensure adherence to risk limits, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Risk, Technology, and other teams to maintain a resilient trading platform.
