Job summary

US Chemical Storage, part of Justrite Safety Group, designs and manufactures safe, compliant prefabricated chemical storage buildings for various industries and is seeking a Detailer. The role contributes to construction and long-term maintenance of chemical storage buildings with attention to detail and dexterity.

The position requires ability to read plans, operate common hand tools, apply touch-up paint, install decals, and perform shrink wrapping as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read blue prints and drawings accurately.
• Use hand tools required to perform the job but not limited to; hammers, drills, saws, screw guns, metal shears, utility knives.
• Ability to wipe down and apply touch up paint as needed.
• Install final building decals in proper placement.
• Complete shrink wrap of product if needed per customer.
• Work on ladders and roofs of building structure.

We provide best in class quality solutions for hazmat and chemical storage needs. US Chemical Storage is seeking a Detailer. The goal is to contribute to the construction and maintenance of strong and long-lasting chemical storage building.

A detailer is an individual with great hand dexterity and an eye for detail. Work with little supervisor while following all health and safety standards is essential. The goal is to contribute to the construction and maintenance of strong and long-lasting chemical storage buildings.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• To accurately read blue prints and drawings.
• Use hand tools required to perform the job but not limited to; hammers, drills, saws, screw guns, metal shears, utility knives.
• Ability to wipe down and apply touch up paint as needed.
• Install final building decals in proper placement.
• Complete shrink wrap of product if needed per customer.
• Work on ladders and roofs of building structure.

Working Conditions

• Able to lift and carry 50 lbs to waist and over head
• Ability to use ladders at least 10 feet off the ground.
• Ability to bend, twist, squat, stand and walk up to 10 hours per day.
• Wear all required PPE including: steel toed shoes, hearing protection and safety glasses.
• Good physical condition and endurance.
• Ability to work in high heat conditions.
