Grab the helm of the Seahawk while transporting guests on the Pacific Ocean to a destination of unparalleled Alaskan beauty!

As USCG Captain you shall perform all duties associated with the position of a USCG licensed captain and the operation of company vessels. You will supervise deckhands and set an extraordinary example of both a leader and teammate with other members of the ATA staff. You should be in good physical condition and prepared to work in inclement weather. Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Providing pre-trip safety briefing for the guests and operation of a safe tour.
• Accurate completion of administrative paperwork, vessel and maintenance logs.
• Understanding and compliance with company safety and operational policies and adherence to applicable permits, laws and regulations.
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of equipment and vessel to a standard compliant with US Coast Guard criteria.
• Learning the information necessary to deliver an entertaining and informed narrative during the tour including float, fauna and natural history of the area.
• Creating a positive, professional culture and work environment.
• Understanding and compliance with company safety and operational procedures.
