Job summary

Revolution Technologies is seeking a Senior Construction Quality Assurance Inspector to support federal construction projects at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota. The role requires performing onsite surveillance, verifying compliance with plans and specs, and documenting findings for the USACE COR.

The candidate will evaluate contractor quality programs and assist with deficiencies, changes, and contract modifications, with relocation possible for the right USACE approved candidate.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of construction QA/inspection experience.
• Ability to work full-time onsite at Ellsworth AFB.
• Experience inspecting workmanship, materials, installations, and construction methods.
• Ability to interpret drawings, plans, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Experience preparing construction surveillance or inspection reports.
• Experience identifying deficiencies and recommending corrective actions.

We are hiring a Senior Construction Quality Assurance Inspector to support federal construction projects at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota.

This professional will perform onsite construction surveillance, verify compliance with contract plans and specifications, document findings for the USACE Contracting Officer’s Representative, evaluate contractor quality programs, and assist with deficiencies, changed conditions, and contract modifications.

Required qualifications:

• Ability to work full-time onsite at Ellsworth AFB


• At least 10 years of construction quality assurance or inspection experience


• Experience inspecting workmanship, materials, installations, and construction methods


• Ability to interpret construction drawings, plans, specifications, and contract requirements


• Experience preparing construction surveillance or inspection reports


• Experience identifying deficiencies and recommending corrective actions

Knowledge of at least one relevant specialty or code, such as:

• NFPA 70/NEC electrical systems


• NFPA 99 medical gas systems


• NFPA 101 life safety


• NFPA 13 and 72 fire protection


• HVAC, TAB, ASHRAE, AABC, or NEBB


• Welding or coatings inspection


• HAZWOPER and environmental sampling


• Airfield paving and concrete

USACE, DoD, Air Force, military installation, or other federal construction experience is strongly preferred.
