Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
• 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC/R certification and 2+ years in mechanical maintenance or construction in HVAC/R.
• Type I and II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using hand, digital, and power tools.
• Use the work order system to receive and document repair activities for Stores.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights as needed.

Education

EPA Type I/II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling

HVAC/R vocational or technical program (2-year)

HVAC-R/Mechanical Journeyman (where required)

Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders to support Stores and Store associates and document repair activities. Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls. Inspecting, operating, or testing facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues. Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely. Ensures compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Environmental Protection Agency regulations and guidelines by performing work according to practices and procedures outlined in the Walmart Refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines. Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and comfortable working at heights frequently

Minimum Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience Type I/Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum Qualifications

• Option 1: Vocational or technical HVAC/R certification and 2 years' experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls
• Option 2: 4 years' experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls or related field
• Hold and maintains Type I and Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency certification for refrigerant handling
• Where required, HVAC-R/ Mechanical Journeyman
• Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass motor vehicle report
• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years
• Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years li>
• No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical HVAC/R program
• Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Mechanical license in city and/or state where job is located
• Prior work experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Prior work experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
