Job summary

Walmart is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician in Stockton, CA to join our store operations team. You will perform routine maintenance across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and related trades, under the supervision of the General Maintenance Manager, ensuring safe, functional, and clean facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets across multiple crafts.

• Test and diagnose facilities, equipment, or fixtures to identify issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets by utilizing multiple craft skills (for example, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment) and using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs
• Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair Work Orders to support Stores and Store associates and document repair activities
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspecting, operating , or testing facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues
• Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely
