Key Responsibilities
- Conduct grounds maintenance activities in parking lots, exterior buildings, and surrounding areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Work alongside fellow associates to manage all aspects of landscaping and exterior maintenance.
- Adhere to stringent safety, security, and integrity protocols, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements at local, federal, and state levels.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines.
- Evaluate landscaping needs and implement sustainable upgrades.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI convictions or reckless driving incidents involving alcohol or drugs within the last 3 years
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years if operating a commercial motor vehicle
- No serious traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years if operating a commercial motor vehicle
- Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years’ experience in the landscaping/gardening industry
- Able to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification during pre-hire contingency and be able to maintain a minimum of a 90 day Medical Examiner’s Certification (MEC) card, Associate’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or related area.
- Experience in third-party management.
- Experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Proficient in speaking and understanding Spanish.
- State/local licensing where required (for example, Florida, Texas, California, etc).
