Walmart in Grand Junction, CO is seeking an Exterior Services Technician - DOT Operator to supervise landscape projects and maintain the grounds year‑round as part of a dedicated team. You will perform mowing, trimming and pruning, follow strict safety and regulatory guidelines, and collaborate with associates to keep exterior spaces pristine while supporting Walmart's service standards.

This role requires a minimum age of 21, a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a DOT medical

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years.

• DOT physical and medical certification required.
• Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI convictions within last 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in last 3 years for CMV.
• 2 years’ experience in landscaping/gardening.

Minimum Qualifications

21 years of age or older.

No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three (3) years.

No more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years, if driving a commercial motor vehicle.

No serious traffic violations (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last three (3) years, if operating a commercial motor

No preventable accidents (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last three (3) years, if operating a commercial motor

Successful completion of a DOT physical and medical certification pre- hire.

As required by section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, ability to read and speak in the English language.

2 years’ experience in the landscaping/gardening industry

Preferred Qualifications

Able to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification during pre-hire contingency and be able to maintain a minimum of a 90 day Medical Examiner’s Certification (MEC) card, Associate’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or related area., Experience in third-party management., Experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)., Proficient in speaking and understanding Spanish., State/local licensing where required (for example, Florida, Texas, California, etc).
