Job summary

Walmart Inc. is hiring a Landscape Technician for its Westfield, MA store. You will join a team responsible for maintaining grounds year-round and supporting a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include outdoor maintenance, mowing, trimming, and coordinating with colleagues to ensure a clean, safe exterior. A valid driver’s license and landscape experience are required, with additional qualifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of landscape maintenance or groundskeeping experience.
• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid state-issued driver’s license.
• 2 years’ experience in the landscaping/gardening industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ground maintenance activities in parking lots, exterior buildings, and surrounding areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Mowing, trimming, and pruning to ensure the exterior environment remains pristine.
• Work alongside fellow associates to manage all aspects of landscaping and exterior maintenance.
• Adhere to stringent safety, security, and integrity protocols, Ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements at local, federal, and state levels.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or related area
• Experience in third-party management
• Experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• State/local licensing where required (for example, Florida, Texas, California)
