Walmart in Naugatuck, CT is seeking a Landscape Technician to join our groundskeeping team at our local store. If you have landscaping experience, bring your expertise to our fast-paced, inclusive workplace where safety and teamwork are valued.

You will perform ground maintenance, mowing, trimming, and pruning across exterior areas, collaborating with associates to keep the property pristine year-round and comply with all safety and policy standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ground maintenance activities in parking lots, exterior buildings, and surrounding areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Mowing, trimming, and pruning to ensure the exterior environment remains pristine.
• Work alongside fellow associates to manage all aspects of landscaping and exterior maintenance.
• Adhere to stringent safety, security, and integrity protocols,
• Ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements at local, federal, and state levels.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping
• 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years' experience in the landscaping/gardening industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or related area.
• Experience in third-party management.
• Experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• State/local licensing where required (for example, Florida, Texas, California).
