Job summary

Walmart’s Grand Junction store is seeking a Landscape Technician to keep the exterior grounds in top condition year-round. You will perform mowing, trimming, pruning, and other landscape tasks across parking areas and building exteriors to support a welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or related area.
• Experience in third-party management.
• Experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• State/local licensing where required (for example, Florida, Texas, California).

Compensation

• Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, level of job offer, qualifications and other job-related factors.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
