Job summary

Sam's Club in Baytown, TX is seeking an IT Systems Support role to help internal and external customers by researching data on system and network issues. You will maintain operation of hardware and software, install, monitor, and repair components, and respond to urgent requests while documenting progress.

Responsibilities include daily admin tasks, security measures, troubleshooting, and clear communication with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in an information systems related field is required.
• Minimum 6 months experience in Walmart Supply Chain and 6 months in maintaining computer applications.
• Alternatively 1 year of experience in an information systems related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to internal and external customers by researching data on system and network related issues.
• Respond to and resolve critical systems issues and urgent customer requests.
• Perform daily administrative tasks including pass down reports, billing, user access, coding and filing.
• Coordinate and support security measures to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized damage.
• Troubleshoot system and user issues hardware and software and communicate status to stakeholders.

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.05 - $26.55* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
