Overview
Position Summary: Provides pharmaceutical care to customers including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs, maintaining confidential information, maintaining controlled medication and required documentation.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and provide expert advice and guidance on application of information and best practices.
- Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs, building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
- Implement business solutions by building relationships and partnerships, identifying business needs, determining and carrying out necessary processes, monitoring progress and results, recognizing improvement opportunities, adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
- Model and enforce proper customer service approaches and techniques to resolve customer complaints within company guidelines and standards.
- Model compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics and integrity, supporting company standards and demonstrating and assisting others with applying these in business processes.
- Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures and regulations for assigned areas; analyze and interpret reports; implement and monitor loss prevention and safety controls; oversee operational and quality assurance reviews; develop and implement action plans; provide direction on executing company programs and strategic initiatives.
- Maintain confidential information, documentation and records as required by company policies and local, state and federal guidelines.
- Provide comprehensive patient care, accurately dispense prescriptions, administer immunizations, and administer other programs developed by Walmart in compliance with pharmacy statutes and regulations.
- Promote a culture of patient care safety and accuracy: communicate expectations, enforce SOPs, ensure counseling and documentation requirements, identify areas of improvement, implement interventions, promote error reporting and transparency, write plans of action focused on root cause.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, billing procedures, and standard operating procedures; utilize auditing to identify compliance issues and implement improvements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
- Pharmacy license by job entry date.
- Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program.

Salary
The annual salary range is $98,000.00 - $172,000.00 for a 40‑hour week. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
