Walmart in Hurricane, UT is seeking an automotive maintenance specialist responsible for inspections, maintenance, repairs, and fuel-handling duties on Walmart equipment and service vehicles. • Receive fuel drops and conduct fuel sampling following safety procedures.

Position Summary

What you’ll do

Performs basic to intermediate inspections preventative maintenance repairs and replacements following company guidelines on all Walmart equipment for example trailers tractors yard trucks shop equipment service vehicles by creating and processing work orders assessing maintenance repair and replacement needs identifying needed parts and possible solutions selecting the best possible solution conducting maintenance repairs and replacements for example repairing and replacing brake system components such as air antiskid Scam ABS disc brakes replacing leaky wheel seals dismountinginstalling tractor trailer tires following company and Department of Transportation DOT guidelines and requirements communicating with individuals or groups for example customers suppliers associates verbally and in writing and completing work orders records logs and other written or computerbased documents according to established procedures

Receives fuel drops and conducts fuel sampling

by monitoring the drop to ensure safety compliance following procedures for fuel additives monitoring tank levels before and after the drop collecting and preparing fuel samples for analysis and shipping and completing appropriate paperwork

The hourly wage range for this position is $29.40 - $32.90* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
