Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician for our Paducah, KY store. You will support and oversee repair of refrigeration and HVAC assets using commercial tools, driving a fast-paced, safety-conscious maintenance team environment.

Minimum qualifications include 10 years in HVAC refrigeration, EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass an MVR report. This role involves lifting 75 pounds and working at heights regularly.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools.
• Use the work order system to manage repairs and document activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA guidelines per Walmart safety policy.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights frequently.

Job Duties:

• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders to support Stores and Store associates and document repair activities.

• Inspecting,operating, or testing facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.

• Complete all required training requirements tooperateequipment and tools safely.

• Ensures compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Environmental Protection Agency regulations and guidelines by performing work according to practices and procedures outlined in the WalmartRefrigeration HVACsafety policy and environmental guidelines.

• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and comfortable working at heightsfrequently

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
