Position Summary

Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facilities, equipment, and assets using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders, support Stores and Store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, and fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.

Minimum Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with clean record and ability to pass Motor Vehicle Record report.
• Vocational or technical certification and 5 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade, or 7 years’ experience in these trades.
• 1 year’s experience with intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Can lift up to 75 lbs and move up and down ladders frequently.
• Comfortable working at heights frequently.

Preferred Qualifications

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and additional years of trade experience beyond the minimum.
