Walmart in South Euclid, OH is seeking a Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our local and regional team. The role involves maintaining and repairing facilities and equipment using multiple craft skills, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Option 1: Vocational or technical certification and 3 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Option 2: 6 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no DUI/DWI/OUI convictions in last 5 years.
• No more than two moving violations in last 3 years.
• No preventable accidents in last 3 years while operating a commercial vehicle.
• No serious traffic violations in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment).
• Use the work order system to receive reactive repair work orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect and test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 18 years or older


• High School Diploma or equivalent


• Hold a valid state-issued driver\’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report


• Vocational or Technical certification and 5 years\' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade, or 7 years\' experience in one of these trades.


• 1 year\'s experience using intermediate-level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).


• Can lift up to 75 lbs.


• Can Move up and down ladders frequently


• Comfortable working at heights frequently

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets by utilizing multiple craft skills (for example, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment) and using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs
