Job summary
Walmart is seeking a Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our local and regional team in Forest Park, IL. You will maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets across multiple crafts, using hand and power tools, and respond to emergency maintenance calls.
Minimum qualifications include 18+, HS diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license with clean MVR, 5–7 years in trades or related certification, and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

- Use the work order system to receive and document repair work orders and support stores.
- Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
- Inspect facilities, equipment, and fixtures to diagnose issues.
- Complete all required training to operate equipment safely.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
- Vocational or Technical certification and 5 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade, or 7 years' experience in one of these trades.
- 1 year's experience using intermediate-level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Can lift up to 75 lbs.
- Can Move up and down ladders frequently
- Comfortable working at heights frequently

The hourly wage range for this position is $36.00 - $69.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
