Job summary

Walmart is expanding its facilities team in the Florence/Cincinnati area. We are seeking a Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our local and regional team, bringing hands-on trade experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or related fields.

You will maintain and repair facilities and equipment, respond to emergencies, and document repair activities in the work order system. This full-time role offers growth and comprehensive benefits with Walmart.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver's license with clean driving record; ability to pass MVR.
• Vocational/Technical certification and 5 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade, or 7 years' experience.
• 1 year of experience with Word processing, spreadsheets, email, and presentations (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint).
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work at heights with ladders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets across multiple crafts (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, equipment).
• Use work order system to manage reactive repair requests for Stores and associates.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls promptly.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety training for operating tools and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report

Competitive Compensation

Key Responsibilities
