Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance or related field; 2 years’ experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

About the Team

You will join a small, high‑impact technical team led by Spencer Jordan that supports Walmart’s ambient supply chain, specifically general merchandise distribution centers. The team develops network‑wide tools and solutions used across both field operations and the home office (HQ).

This team is focused on driving innovation through data, automation, and AI—building scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency and decision‑making. With a collaborative and fast‑paced environment, the team partners closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver measurable business impact.

• Strong technical skills in tools and technologies such as Python, SQL, JavaScript, Next.js, Linux environments, and API integration
• Experience building tools or solutions that automate workflows and improve operational efficiency
• Background in data analytics, software development, or web development
• Familiarity with applying AI or intelligent automation to solve business problems
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence without direct authority
