Overview

Currently seeking an Associate Analytical Scientist for a prominent client of ours. This position is based in Lexington, MA.

Details for the position are as follows:

• Pay: $35-46/hr.
• 6-month assignment with possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for upstream and downstream manufacturing science labs.
• Work with matrix teams for assay transfer and troubleshooting assays.
• Perform analytical assays for in-process samples in non-GMP environment.
• Maintain electronic lab notebook and report data in a timely manner.
• Write documents and reports to present findings in meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience in multiple analytical techniques related to biologic characterization.
• Experience with method transfer, qualification, and validation is a plus.
• Experience working with monoclonal antibody and/or protein therapeutics as applied to mammalian cell lines in a bioprocessing environment is desirable.
• Experience with analytical assays such as SEC, SDS-PAGE, CE-SDS, ELISA, titer, etc. is desired.
