Job summary

Walmart in Reno, NV seeks an experienced Store Manager to lead and develop teams, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will manage budget, inventory, and operations while promoting a culture of belonging and integrity.

The role requires strong leadership, training, and comms skills to execute company initiatives and community engagement. The position emphasizes coaching hourly associates, ensuring policy compliance, and delivering improved store performance in line with OBW

Qualifications

  • 2 years of college or 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience.
  • For firearms facilities, CBC and Firearms Authorized Training may be required.
  • Associates will attend and complete all required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams through teaching, training and feedback; ensure customer service excellence using OBW model.
  • Drive store financial performance by reviewing budgets, forecasting, controlling expenses, and optimizing merchandising and inventory.
  • Supervise hourly associates, set clear expectations, recognize performance, and promote a culture of inclusion and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, uphold ethics and integrity, and support Walmart's mission and Open Door Policy.

Minimum Qualifications...

2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
For facilities that sell firearms, I acknowledge that the position for which I am applying will require successful completion of a firearms- specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state specific requirements, I acknowledge that the position for which I am applying may require a current state issued Certificate of Eligibility.
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
