Job summary

Global Energy Manufacturing is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Tech to join their Facilities Maintenance Department supporting Advanced Investment Casting Operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization. Location: Gibsonton, FL.

Pay range: $33.00-$35.00 per hour. Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience.
• Preferred hands-on knowledge of AAON or Trane units.
• Must possess a valid State HVAC license with an active Florida Class A Certification.
• Strong proficiency reading electrical schematics with advanced mechanical, electrical, and automation troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes) and familiarity utilizing digital CMMS maintenance software platforms.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and Repair RTUs: Service large industrial rooftop units (40-ton+), including compressors, economizers, VFDs, and mechanical control systems.
• Maintain Chilled Water Systems: Troubleshoot chillers, pumps, air handlers, coils, and related hydraulic components.
• Execute Preventative Maintenance: Adhere to PM schedules for RTUs, chillers, and cooling towers to prevent downtime.
• Refrigerant Compliance: Safe refrigerant recovery, precise system charging, leak detection, and environmental recordkeeping.
• System Testing & Documentation: Use gauges and diagnostic tools to evaluate efficiency and maintain logs.

• Technical Circuit Expertise: Strong proficiency reading electrical schematics alongside advanced mechanical, electrical, and automation troubleshooting skills.
• Diagnostic & Software Literacy: Proficient with diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes) and familiarity utilizing digital CMMS maintenance software platforms.
• Legal Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employer visa sponsorship.
