Walmart is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Olathe, Kansas to assist in the repair, servicing, and preventive maintenance of production and facility equipment. You will work with industrial machinery, lift trucks, HVAC, electrical systems, and building infrastructure while following safety procedures to minimize downtime.

You will complete work orders, document maintenance records, and collaborate with managers and coworkers to identify improvement opportunities.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Technicians with the repair, servicing, and maintenance of equipment.
• Perform preventive and basic maintenance and repairs on:
• Production equipment
• Lift trucks and material-handling equipment
• Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Dock equipment
• Electronic and electrical equipment
• HVAC units
• Building facilities and grounds
• Maintain and repair building facilities, including plumbing, construction, and painting.
• Operate material-handling equipment, battery‑powered equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment according to established procedures.
• Clean, inspect, and maintain equipment, tools, work areas, facilities, and grounds.
• Assist with the proper handling, use, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials and waste, including cleaning chemicals, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Complete work orders, maintenance records, logs, and other written or computer‑based documentation accurately and according to established procedures.
• Complete assigned work and priorities by:

The hourly wage range for this position is $27.85 - $34.85. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
