Job summary

  • Ensure processing areas are clean before and after use.
  • Monitor and operate the HTST system according to PMO standards, including daily use of computers and HMI systems.
  • Monitor and adjust milk unloading schedules as necessary.
  • Coordinate CIP systems according to PMO and food safety plans.
  • Coordinate chocolate batching.
  • Identify process issues and/or deviations and escalates them to management when necessary.
  • Adhere to all company safety procedures and guidelines, wearing personal protective equipment.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely.
  • Report any hazards, near misses, injuries, or accidents immediately.
  • Participate actively in safety trainings and drills.
  • Maintain cleanliness in work areas to prevent accidents.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of safety protocols.
  • Demonstrate awareness of surroundings to ensure own safety and that of others.
  • Accomplish work assignments and prioritize tasks using available resources.
  • Collaborate with managers, coworkers, and business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations.
  • Communicate progress and relevant information in a timely manner.
  • Identify and suggest improvement opportunities; adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Execute business processes and practices in line with the Open Door Policy.

Salary

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00–$28.80. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
