Job summary

Ernst & Young in San Juan, PR invites ambitious students to join our Assurance/Audit team as Analysts for Summer/Fall 2027. You’ll gain hands-on experience, work with client teams, and develop a solid foundation in accounting and auditing within a global firm.

You should be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting or Finance, aim for CPA licensure, and be bilingual in Spanish and English. Travel and commuting to EY offices and client sites may be required; residency in or near

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing an undergrad or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance or related business discipline.
• Must meet educational requirements for CPA licensure and have a plan to pass the CPA exam.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Some travel may be required based on client and project needs.
• Must reside in or be within commuting distance to San Juan, PR.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential audit issues or unusual relationships in financial statements with detailed analytical trend analysis.
• Demonstrate professionalism while working in clients’ environments and providing exceptional service.
• Operate effectively in a regulated environment, with a focus on protecting the capital markets and the investing public.
• Develop and maintain relationships with our clients to provide definitive auditing services that the capital markets and the client can rely upon.
• Share the story of value-added insights discovered through data analysis with our clients.

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Have or be working toward, an undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance or a related business discipline.
• Meet the minimal educational requirements for CPA licensure in your work state prior to beginning full‑time employment and have a demonstrable plan for passing the CPA exam.
• Work may be required in excess of standard hours. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.
• Candidates interested in the Government & Public Sector focus must have U.S. citizenship and be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance or higher, within the designated time frame, which will be determined by the engagement requirements for a security clearance.
• Be bilingual (Spanish and English)
• Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.
• You must either reside in or be in a commutable distance to San Juan, PR for this position.

• We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $78,000 to $94,000 . Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
• Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
