Job summary

Walmart Real Estate is seeking a Construction Project Management Intern to help improve how construction projects are planned, coordinated, monitored, and communicated across our real estate fleet. You will work with construction management and contractor partners to enhance schedule accuracy, field visibility, and performance tracking.

The role focuses on creating standardized, scalable processes for construction management teams and external contractors, with exposure to cross-functional teams

What you'll do...

Role summary: As a Construction Project Management Intern, you will help improve how Construction Projects within the Real Estate portfolio are planned, coordinated, monitored and communicated across the Walmart real estate fleet. You will work with construction management and contractor partners to improve schedule accuracy, real-time field visibility and performance tracking.

About the team: Walmart Real Estate supports the places and physical assets that enable Walmart to serve customers and communities. Our work spans the full real estate lifecycle and brings together teams across strategy, portfolio and development, design, construction, facilities, fuel and convenience, data, technology, and other supporting functions. This internship supports Construction and New Assets Real Estate, with a focus on creating a standardized, scalable and trackable process for construction management teams and external contractors.

What you'll do:

• Interest in construction, owners representation, project delivery or operational process improvement.
• Coursework, internship or project experience in construction, project management, process improvement or operations.
• Experience documenting workflows, managing schedules or tracking performance metrics.
• Comfort communicating with field teams, contractors and business leaders.
