Job Duties and Qualifications
Depending on the job location, lodging, and rotating schedule may be provided.
- Under supervision, delivers Product Service Line (PSL) equipment to wellsite.
- Provides proppant handling services, manifold rig-up, and tanks measurement during the job.
- Learns basic operations including:
- Performing pre/post job equipment inspections.
- Performing and completing preventative maintenance procedures.
- Operating support equipment (e.g., proppant handling, Fluid Tanks, suction manifolding, treating lines, etc.).
- Learning and adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures and guidelines, as well as other safety and service quality protocols.
- Assisting in assembly and preparation of equipment for installation and service.
- Assists in clean-up, repair, and preparation for the next job.
- Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, complying with all safety and environmental procedures.
- Participates actively in quality improvement processes.
- Completes required training following the company's development systems.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-6 months experience as Operator Assistant I - Frac/Acid or 1 year of related oilfield services experience.
- Ability to obtain a Class A CDL license.
- Satisfactory driving record with no recent DWI/DUI convictions or current charges.
- Completion of Operator Assistant I - Frac/Acid competencies or similar industry experience.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to pass background, physical, and drug screenings.
- Understanding and ability to follow routine instructions.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Flexibility to work long hours, irregular schedules, and be on-call, often in extreme weather conditions.
- Effective teamwork and relationship-building skills.
