Job summary

HSBC Private Bank in the United States seeks an Equity Portfolio Manager, US Equities, to lead portfolio construction, risk control and client communications for Private Bank clients. You will partner with other portfolio managers to co-manage strategies, generate high-conviction ideas from fundamental research, and articulate decisions to internal stakeholders and clients.

A disciplined, fiduciary approach and strong collaboration across teams are essential to deliver consistent, risk-adjusted

Qualifications

Proven US equity portfolio management experience.
Strong relative value mindset.
Ability to balance research depth with real-world implementation.
Clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

Own portfolio construction, position sizing, rebalancing and cash-flow management within risk limits.
Monitor portfolio risk (factor/sector/style, concentration, drawdown) and ensure prudent management for Trust accounts.
Collaborate with other Equity Portfolio Managers to co-manage dividend-focused strategies and other mandates.
Generate high-conviction ideas using fundamental research and analytics; adhere to investment philosophy.
Articulate portfolio decisions, performance drivers and market outlook to peers, product partners and clients.
