Job summary

Trimac Transportation is seeking a professional CDL Class A driver to haul general chemicals across a multi-state network, including PA, NJ, MD, NY and CT. The role requires tanker and Hazmat endorsements, a TWIC card, and a proven driving record with safety in mind.

Drivers are typically out 1–3 nights per trip, with schedules designed for steady mileage (2,500–3,000 miles per week). Trimac emphasizes safety, reliability and a strong orientation toward community and growth.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• At least 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• TWIC card required.
• Must pass Trimac safety assessment.
• No major violations in past 7 years; no suspensions in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Haul various general chemicals.
• Operate routes across PA, NJ, MD & NY to destinations including CT.
• Drive 2,500–3,000 miles weekly.

Destination points: GA, KY, IL, OH, WI, PA, MN, MA, CT, AL & TN

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• 1-year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• Tanker & Hazmat Endorsement required
• TWIC Card
• Must pass Trimac safety assessment
• Past 7 years without:
• Driving violation involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances
• A preventable rollover or fatality crash
• Past 3 years without:
• License suspensions involving drug and/or alcohol, or a record that would indicate a disregard for public safety
• A major preventable accident
• Two or more moving convictions
