Job summary

The Language Doctors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Spanish language instructor to deliver remote, one-on-one lessons. You will design customized sessions focused on reading comprehension and written expression, while monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching strategies.

Applicants should have strong organizational and communication skills, reliable equipment, and a professional remote workspace. Courses run Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with a fixed schedule and short breaks

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Spanish language instructor; excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Expertise in developing customized one-on-one Spanish language lessons with a focused emphasis on reading comprehension and written expression.
• Monitor and document student progress on an ongoing basis, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback after each session to support continuous improvement.
• Access to a reliable computer, high-speed internet connection, and a quiet, professional remote workspace.

Details of the Tutoring:

• 150-hour Virtual Spanish Initial Acquisition Course
• Goal: Reach a 1+/1+ or 2/2 on the DLPT, with a focus on reading, listening, vocabulary, and grammar.
• Start Date: September 4, 2026
• End Date: Approximately December 16, 2026
• Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 01:00 PM to 05:00 PM
• Total: 12 hours per week
• No training: October 12, November 11, and November 27
• Estimated duration: 108 hours
