Must Have Requirements:

• Security Clearance (we assist in obtaining if not available)
• Citizenship or Green Card

Your Responsibilities:

• Answer calls professionally, adhering to the interpreter's code of conduct.
• Take notes during calls as needed.
• Be familiar with industry-specific vocabulary, especially healthcare and medical terminology.
• Render messages accurately and completely.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Facilitate communication between limited Vietnamese proficiency clients and the company.
• Participate in professional training and certification.
• Communicate and report to team leaders.
• Follow dress code requirements for video interpreting.

Background and Experience:

• Fluent in Vietnamese and native in French.
• Over 1 year of telephone interpretation experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology; legal terminology is a plus.
• Certifications like PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA are advantageous.
• High school diploma in native language.
• High emotional intelligence and cultural tolerance.
• Strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory skills.

Technical Requirements:

This is a remote position requiring:

• Secure, high-speed internet (minimum 10 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload).
• Wired Ethernet connection (Wi-Fi not permitted).
• Windows 10 or higher, dual-core processor, 8 GB RAM.
• Single device (no external peripherals or tablets).
• High-performance mode on the computer.
• Noise-canceling wired headset with microphone (no Bluetooth).
