Job summary

Crédit Agricole CIB’s Global Markets Division seeks entry-level Analysts across four desks in New York. You will work directly with traders and structurers, gaining exposure to pricing, risk management, and the full lifecycle of trading activity from day one.

Analysts will support trading desks, build pricing models, and develop market understanding. This 24-month fixed-term placement offers a structured development path within Global Markets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, math, stats, economics, engineering, CS or a related major.
  • Strong Excel and solid grasp of financial markets and instruments.
  • Strong written and verbal English.
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in the US.
  • Candidate must not require Visa Sponsorship now or in the future (including F1, OPT, CPT).
  • Master’s in Finance or Financial Economics.
  • Internship in Capital Markets, trading, structuring, or a related quantitative role.
  • Python, VBA, SQL, Bloomberg/Reuters, knowledge of specific product areas.
  • Second language, derivative coursework or trading simulations.
  • Intellectually curious.
  • Highly numerate.
  • Detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor positions, market data, and real-time developments across relevant asset classes; flag anomalies to the desk promptly.

  • Assist in market-making activity and execute transactions within established risk parameters.
  • Prepare marketing materials, term sheets, and product presentations for the sales force.

About the Role

  • Global Repo & Indexing (GRI) – Equity Finance & Delta One
  • FX Non-Linear Trading – FX Options
  • FX – Emerging Markets (Brazil / LatAm)
  • Global Markets Structuring – Cross-Asset

Analysts work directly alongside experienced traders and structurers, with exposure to the full lifecycle of trading and structuring activity from day one. Each placement offers a clear development path within Global Markets.

Key Responsibilities

Trading & Structuring Support

  • Monitor positions, market data, and real-time developments across relevant asset classes; flag anomalies to the desk promptly
  • Support pricing of derivatives, FX, rates, credit, equity, and secured funding products (TRS, structured repo, etc.)
  • Assist in market-making activity and execute transactions within established risk parameters
  • Prepare marketing materials, term sheets, and product presentations for the sales force

Tools & Analytics

  • Build and maintain pricing models, spreadsheets, and analytical frameworks
  • Compile daily P&L, risk, and market commentary reports for management
  • Support flow analysis and position management across trading books

Trade Processing & Risk

  • Input trades into Front Office systems accurately and on time (Sophis, SFCM, Orchestrade)
  • Assist with daily P&L reconciliation; elevate discrepancies appropriately
  • Monitor position and risk limits intraday; flag potential breaches to senior traders

Compliance & Controls

  • Comply with all legal, regulatory, and internal requirements including CA-CIB's US Compliance Manual
  • Complete all mandatory training; adhere to KYC procedures and applicable conduct rules
  • Act as first line of defense — identify and elevate control issues or regulatory concerns
  • Partner with Sales, Quant Research, Legal, Compliance, Middle/Back Office, and IT
  • Liaise with global offices and contribute to team discussions on market strategy

Description of each team:

Global Repo & Indexing (GRI) – Equity Finance & Delta One
The GRI desk manages equity financing and Delta One trading activity, including securities lending, repo, and index-linked products. Analysts on this desk support senior traders in monitoring positions, pricing transactions, and managing the day-to-day flow of a fast-moving equity finance business.

FX Non-Linear Trading – FX Options
The FX Options desk is responsible for market-making and risk management across a range of vanilla and exotic FX derivatives products. Analysts work alongside experienced options traders, gaining hands‑on exposure to derivatives pricing, Greeks management, and client flow in a high‑intensity environment.

FX – Emerging Markets (Brazil / LatAm)
The EM FX desk focuses on Brazil and broader Latin American currency markets, providing pricing and liquidity to clients across spot, forwards, and FX derivatives. Analysts support the trader with real‑time market monitoring, flow analysis, and macro research with a specific focus on BRL and LatAm dynamics.

Global Markets Structuring – Cross-Asset
The Structuring desk designs and delivers bespoke derivatives and financing solutions across rates, FX, credit, and equity for institutional and corporate clients in the Americas. Analysts support senior structurers on pricing, term sheet preparation, and internal coordination across trading, legal, and compliance.
